Senior transportation design students at Detroit's College for Creative Studies presented their work to the public and industry representatives during the school's annual Student Exhibition earlier this year. The major project brief revolved around the notion of an 'Exquisite Chrysler.' Students had to identify six vehicles from the past that represented a combination of great beauty and good design, regardless of brand. Fiat has released official images of its new 500L ahead of its Geneva motor show debut. The L – short for large – is a new, five-seat B/C-segment MPV that is set to go on sale late 2012. The 34th-annual Concours d'Elegance of America at St. John's, formerly known as the Meadow Brook Concours d'Elegance, will host a selection of Slingshot rail drag cars this year, in addition to the Duesenbergs, Pierce-Arrows and Cords.
